This is a blog where I write stuff. Nowadays I try to write frequently for a reason that I myself don’t really know. There were times that I would neglect this blog for months at a time, but ever since participation in a Blogathon for a month, I find myself enjoying posting both random thoughts as well as anything more noteworthy.

I started blogging on 1 December 2001 in a blog called “Sleeping Discord”. Shortly after, I bought my domain and set up Viva Forever. Log records show that this blog started on 2 August 2002.

This blog is named after a Spice Girls song of the same name. Yes, SPICE GIRLS whom I think had a couple of very catchy songs. Too bad they disbanded in 2000. Wow, that was a long time ago. Anyway, I my favourite Spice Girls song was definitely “Viva Forever”; they really strayed out of their manufactured pop feel and made a song that had a very pretty (almost haunting) melody with kinda cryptic lyrics. The other reason I picked the name was because I wanted a name with “Forever” in it, so I could get the URL “forever.immortalised.net”. Yeah, I was a bit cheesy back then. :P But hey I was 16!
