I’ve developed a habit over the years to join forums, post lots then totally forget about having membership there. Due to this, I have an extensive list of forums that I currently still attend to, to some degree.

Comments: I like the activity level of this forum, it’s not too crowded but it’s not too desolate. The people have an emphasis on “friendliness”. Many people have problems with the forum members but I’ve never had such trouble.

Gaia Online

Comments: Boasts to being the biggest forum on the net. It is INCREDIBLY active but so many posts are not worth reading. I was active for a while but it became tiresome chasing after threads that are many tens of pages long.

Harmony Land

Comments: Classic post-and-run. I think I may have spent 5 days being very active then suddenly losing interest. It’s good if you want a dose of very active forumage but it gets a little too much to handle after a while. The people tend to side with the younger so I find many of the topics not too interesting for me.

Metropolis

Comments: Semi-busy, mature forum made for women. I think it’s quite well done, as it’s not boring and the topics are varied and can be quite interesting.

Snark Forums

Comments: I joined relatively recently but I do like this forum as I see many familiar people I know already online. It’s currently quite lively and it has fun members that makes the posts fun to read or at least skim through.

Protagonist Community Forums

Comments: This place used to be quite busy, and at the time of my joining, I had thought all the people there were quite mature (in terms of post and reply content) compared to other boards. I gradually forgot my membership there and when I recently refound it, I was disappointed to see the activity there has died down to a substantial degree.
