I haven’t been blogging much, been a bit out of it online-wise lately. I’ve joined a second awesome D&D campaign where I’m a halfling ranger. I’m also more than halfway through Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince and I’m baffled by the amount of teen drama exploding throughout much of the middle of the book. The imagery of Ron spending chapter after chapter basically just sucking face with a girl non-stop is a little nauseating. Hopefully the plot would pick up soon. I loled when one of the “random” passwords into the Gryffindor room was “abstinence”. Real subtle, Rowling. Also, I’ve started a new crafting project, fingers crossed that it’ll turn out to be a success.

The plot does pick up in a bit, but I do agree, there is a lot of teen drama and ’sucking face’, lol.
In my head, the Potter books ended at book 5. From thereon it was a downward spiral (that isn’t to say I don’t like bits and pieces from the final two though!).
I agree with Amber; I never really liked HP, but after the exploding wankfest of Book5 I just… couldn’t do it any more. It’s like, I’m an adult now; I remember going through this stuff already and it wasn’t fun back then, either, so why do I want to read about it now?

My sister has Minchin’s albums- they are so funny.
I liked Harry Potter, but there are definitly better books. I gave up the whole “Harry Potter is the best thing ever” at age 13.
I love Harry Potter, but the sixth book sort of destroyed things for me. Ginny and Harry… just … NO!
Even though I am still a really big fan, I never saw Harry in the same way after that book. At least the 7th one was a little better.(but then, the epilog, grrrr)

I can’t say much about HP and the Half Blood Prince, I haven’t read it completely. Every time I grab it something throws me off.
