Two movie-related ancedotes:

  • The depressing one: I watched An Inconvenient Truth the other day, and wow talk about depressing! Al Gore pretty much convinced me we’re all going to die within the next decade or so if all governments don’t do something about le environment. It’s pretty shameful too that Australia produces 1.1% of global emissions when we have a measly 20 million people here (that’s half the population of Shanghai!). :’(
  • The funny one: I watched Memoirs of a Geisha for a second time with Tim ages ago and when we were coming out of the cinema after the movie was over, I overheard two guys walking by and one of them said “man, I thought there was going to be kung fu in the movie”. Chortlerrific!
