Sorry for the lack of blogging, uni break has started and I’ve been procrastinating and generally enjoying my free time. I’ve taken up… CROCHETING!
No photos yet, I’m still practicing my stitches but I hope to have something very simple completed soon. I feel so content just curling up in front of my computer with my big ball of yarn and crochet hook and just squirrelling away while watching The Daily Show with Jon Stewart (either via Youtube or Comedy Central).
Anyway I wanted to ask the question, what do you guys think about video blogs and podcasts? I’ve only recently explored the former after watching many of the funny video blogs by The Wine Kone. I used to think that video blogs are only used by whiny emo kids that whinge about their terrible lives but I discovered that it can be a very fun medium that may be as interesting as reading a good blog.
I don’t know much about podcasts, but I heard that the Penny Arcade guys have great podcasts and so are those done by Blank Label Comics guys. If anyone has good podcasts or video blogs to recommend, please do tell. I think these two are potentially very fun media to tap into.
Other than that I watched Silent Hill today. Not TOO scary but I didn’t think it was so bad. I know the storyline of the games (even though I haven’t played them, I’m too wussy) and they are much better than the movie. However the movie plot isn’t too bad at all.
